DC stands for data centre grade NVMe drives. Reg. means registered (buffered) ECC memory.

When is a dedicated server the right choice?

A VPS is enough for many tasks. A dedicated server pays off if one of the following applies.

    Constant, predictable performance

    You share the processor and memory with no other customer, so the same resources are there at peak load.

  • 02 · Size

    A large database or lots of data

    64 or 128 GB of ECC memory and high-capacity NVMe drives for larger databases.

  • 03 · Virtualisation

    Several systems on one machine

    The many cores and the large memory let you run your own virtual machines on the server.

  • 04 · Traffic

    Heavy data traffic

    Unlimited traffic on a 1 Gbit/s port. The EX63 is also available with a 10 Gbit/s port for a surcharge.

WHAT DOES MANAGEMENT INCLUDE?

You don't just get a server. You can leave running it to us, too.

  • Installation and setup

    We prepare the server for the online shop, business system or application you want to use.

  • Regular updates

    We update the system and the software components we have agreed to look after, in an agreed maintenance window.

  • Daily backups

    We back up the system to separate storage every day. We keep the backups for 14 days and regularly check that they can be restored.

  • Continuous monitoring

    We watch the state of the server and set up alerts for defined problems.

  • Troubleshooting

    If a server-side problem comes up, we investigate it and fix it within the scope of the service.

    You can talk to us directly by phone and e-mail, during our published support hours.

You get the machine with full administrator rights, and you or your IT team run it.
